One Child, One Team

Every young person deserves a team of adults who work together on their behalf. At Jasmine House School, we bring together families, education staff, therapists and external professionals to ensure that support is coordinated, communication is effective and each pupil receives a consistent and personalised experience. By working as one team around the child, we are able to remove barriers to learning, promote wellbeing and support successful outcomes both in school and beyond.

Jasmine House Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures, policy documents and training programme are in line  with updated Government and Policy Legislation. Staff are issued a copy of the Child Protection Procedures. Staff receive regular  training and updates. A copy of our Safeguarding Policy is made available to Parents/carers, social workers, placing authorities and other significant stakeholders. Jasmine House sets out clear guidelines and expectations with regards to appropriate relationships between all staff and the young people. Jasmine House  provides a very safe, caring and personal support in which all young people will be given full emotional support without it being detrimental to their safety and well-being. All staff are aware of their responsibilities for Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. 

Jasmine House has a duty of care and therefore a responsibility to pass on any child protection and safeguarding concerns to the relevant children’s social care services.
