Stimulating Care and Personalised Development

We aim to make a positive difference to the personal, social and learning lives of the young people entrusted to our care. The Daisies provides safe, stimulating care and development opportunities for all young people.  Every young person will be treated with unconditional positive regard as a unique individual with respect and value irrespective of their difficulties.

The Daisies Children's Home

Meet The Team

 Alison Harris
Homes Manager

I’m the Manger at The Daisies. I have 30 over years’ experience with supporting Adults and Young People with Learning Disabilities. I have managed both adult and children’s homes as well as worked in day and residential schools.

I have a passion for supporting everyone to achieve their potential. I value fun and nurturing as one of the most important and rewarding parts of my daily approach.

I have two children as well as a dog and cat and love to travel and spend time with friends and family. When I am not out and about, I love to curl up and read a good book and am always looking for recommendations for a good read.

My aims and wishes for The Daisies is that the young people who will call it home, are happy, safe, valued, have a voice, are understood and loved.

"Staff take every opportunity to make children feel special, celebrating all achievements and ensuring that the home is a lively, fun and happy environment."
